YWE: Women in Operations Dinner

Operational roles are unique opportunities for future energy leaders to cut their teeth – these roles are at the nexus of live decision-making, maintaining capital intensive facilities, and delivering cost reduction alongside value creation across the lifecycle of multiple assets.

Research shows having more women in field roles across organizations is closely correlated to improved financial performance, and the promotion of those women – often in STEM – into C-Suite roles supports diversity of thought both at the leadership level and boardroom tables.

Join YWE and three (3) Operational executives as we walk through their unique career journeys, hear challenges and opportunities of a career in the field and discuss how the industry can attract more women in operational roles. This is an opportunity to hear from women who are leading the operational success of large Canadian energy companies towards a sustainable and profitable tomorrow.
