John Stackhouse
Senior Vice-President, Office of the CEO

As Senior Vice-President, Office of the CEO at RBC, John is responsible for interpreting trends for the executive leadership team and Board of Directors with insights on how these are affecting RBC, its clients and society at large. Prior to this, John was editor-in-chief of The Globe and Mail (2009-14), editor of Report on Business, and from 1992-1999, a foreign correspondent based in New Delhi, India. His fourth book, Planet Canada, will be published in October 2020. He is also the author of Out of Poverty, Timbit Nation, and Mass Disruption: Thirty Years on the Front Lines of a Media Revolution. John is a Senior Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs and C.D. Howe Institute, and sits on the board of trustees of Queen’s University and the national committee of the Aga Khan Foundation of Canada.

Jocelyn Bamford
Vice President, Automatic Coating Limited, Founder Coalition of Concerned Manufacturers

Jocelyn Bamford is the founder of the Coalition of Concerned Manufacturers and Businesses of Ontario which was formed in September of 2016 in response to unfavorable legislation impacting businesses in Ontario.

Jocelyn in also the Vice President of Automatic Coating Limited, located in Scarborough, Ontario. Automatic Coating Limited (ACL) is recognized worldwide as having one of the most technologically advanced powder and liquid coating facilities in North America specializing in the application of high-performance liquids and powder coating, which she helps her husband Brad operate. Jocelyn and he husband also own and operate Automatic Coating Pipeline Service which offer quality coating filed application to the oil and gas sectors.

Jocelyn previously held positions of Director of Sales with AT&T Canada and sales management at Bell Canada. In addition to sitting on the Board of Directors for the Scarborough Hospital Foundation, Jocelyn is also the former Co-Chair for The Scarborough Hospital Foundation’s Women of Philanthropy Council.

Jocelyn served as vice chair of Elizabeth Simcoe Public School and chair of fundraising for Parent Council from Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Arts for Carlton University and an honours equivalent from the University of Guelph where she graduated with distinctions. Jocelyn lives in Scarborough Ontario and is the proud hockey mom of two sons and a daughter.

Dave Rutherford
Canadian Broadcaster and Radio Personality

Dave Rutherford is an award winning broadcast journalist, best known as host of the highly successful talk program, The Rutherford Show.

With his background as News Director and reporter for a major Canadian broadcaster, Dave’s skill of interviewing politicians, business leaders and news makers gave the audience of The Rutherford Show the scoop on what they
needed to know on a daily basis for 20 years.

As a journalist, he has been on international assignments to cover world events in Afghanistan, Iran, China, South East Asia, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Bosnia and Rwanda.

Dave has done special broadcast reporting and analysis of elections, budgets and all that is government. If Canadians needed to know, Dave was there to bring them the story.

Over the span of his career he has contributed to many media outlets including the BBC, CBC, CTV, CPAC, Corus Radio and Global.
