2024 Show Floor Content Committee

 Lara Barnett is the Provincial Manager of Employer Engagement at CAREERS.  Within her role, she collaborates with employers, associations, and industry leaders across Alberta to create and promote work-integrated learning opportunities for youth under 21 years of age. CAREERS’ goal is to help young Albertans find successful career paths and to build a skilled workforce for the future within in-demand industries.

With over 20 years of experience in business development and corporate client relations, Lara Barnett has a proven record of success in establishing and maintaining strong partnerships, delivering high-quality programs and results, and achieving positive impacts.

Lara is passionate about facilitating work-integrated learning opportunities to benefit both youth and employers, and contributes to the economic and social development of Alberta.
