NextGen Speakers

Kay-Lee is a current student at SAIT, working on achieving her diploma in energy asset management. She previously studied at the University of Lethbridge, majoring in Aboriginal health and addictions counselling. After working in addictions for a year and a half, she decided to switch careers and applied at SAIT. Kay-Lee is a member of the Metis nation of Alberta region 3 and is passionate about Indigenous rights and is driven by personal and professional values that are deeply rooted in Reconciliation. She is currently working for Buffalo Mission Energy Corp as a land analyst for the summer. Her professional goals include working in Indigenous relations with a focus on enhancing community prosperity.  

Kay-Lee has spent her first year at SAIT volunteering for multiple organizations including: Canadian Energy Executives Association, Canadian Heavy Oil Association and for the Macphail School of Energy at SAIT.
