Andrea is the Director of Business Development at Carbon Connect International. She brings over 20 years of global oilfield service and technology expertise. Mrs. Osmond began her career deploying automation systems in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, gaining hands-on oilfield experience that continues to guide a deep appreciation of the role both people and technology play in achieving successful business outcomes.  

Andrea has a reputation as someone who is a creative connector and gets things done. In 2010, Mrs Osmond co-authored SLB’s first 10-year global production strategy. The strategy was anchored in a comprehensive analysis of the $600 Billion global production market and built through collaboration with more than 60 executives across 14 business segments. In this time, Mrs Osmond became the business owner and inventor of the company’s proprietary market analysis technology. In 2016 she led the successful $1 Billion acquisition and carve out of a North American pressure pumping company. After establishing core business functions through the carve out, Ms. Osmond went on to lead Business Process Optimization team with a focus on operating effectiveness, delivering $70M of QoQ improvements to EBITDA resulting from implementation of effective processes, tools and communications.

Mrs. Osmond’s holds a Bachelor of Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary with experience across oil and gas, energy transmission and distribution, oilfield waste management and environmental services, mining, chemical processing, transloading logistics, and defence. An ardent volunteer, Andrea is the leads the local SPE Special Interest Group for Heath, Safety, Environment and Sustainability, and is a member of the Global Methane Forum planning group.
