Sabrina Francey

Sabrina is a process engineer with over 13 years of experience in the metallurgical, energy and industrial decarbonization sectors. Her experience includes process development, process modeling, fluidized bed sizing and elutriation modeling, pilot test work coordination and technology option evaluations. Sabrina has experience in technology development and commercialization, including planning, coordination and execution of test campaigns at university labs, private research facilities, and at client sites; preparing technology development gap analyses and roadmaps; as well as developing and managing collaborative research agreements with technology development partners. Sabrina’s current focus is on industrial decarbonization and CCUS technologies, including technology landscaping and evaluation studies, suitability and value proposition evaluations for industry-specific decarbonization applications, and commercialization management for the Plug Flow Internal Recirculation (PFIR) fluid bed reactor for Pressurized Chemical Looping (PCL) collaborative technology development program with NRCan CanmetENERGY-Ottawa.
