Randal McNeill

Randal McNeill is a Calgary born Oil and Gas Professional . Married for 30 years and has 4 children. Started working in the oilfield as a well tester when he was 17 years old. In 1997 he was recruited by Halliburton to work in the former CIS (Offshore Caspian Sea) to convert wells to western standards. This led to multiple opportunities in Russia and west Africa. When he left Halliburton after 5 years he was an Offshore Coordinator for all services. Taking on challenges and learning from strong mentors Randal developed into a Completions Specialist in the upstream sector. Randal worked for Devon Energy and was the Western Canada Conventional Completions manager @ Husky. During the Cenovus merger Randal transitioned to join TARA as their Executive Vice President. TARA is a forward thinking company that is always looking for a safer more efficient way to effectively produce energy. Safety and protecting the environment are core principles. Innovation is key to any Company and Tara feels it is imperative to always get better at what we do. That is the environment Randal flourishes in.
