Alex Baranov

Alex Baranov is a Business Development Manager at Advanced Upstream Ltd. In this role, he is responsible for engaging and developing business opportunities for a growing oilfield services company in the Canadian and international markets. Mr. Baranov graduated from Novosibirsk State University in 1996 with a degree in applied mathematics and has 26 years of experience in the energy industry around the world. Prior to joining Advanced Upstream in 2022, Mr. Baranov held various operations and business development positions at Schlumberger Oilfield Services and managed several unconventional oil and gas assets in Latin America for major upstream operators.
