2022 Strategic Program Speakers

Rosalie Ahlan began her career at OPG in 2004 with the Public Affairs group, specializing in Darlington Nuclear’s station communications. In 2009 she took a role in the corporate Brand Management group working on OPG’s corporate water safety and biodiversity programs, corporate advertising, and supporting government and media relations. In 2011 Rosalie took an advisory role in the then Hydroelectric Development business unit. This is where she gained extensive business development experience working with First Nation communities, particularly in remote locations. For the past several years she has been the project manager for OPG’s first distribution-scale solar and battery storage project located on reserve in the Gull Bay First Nation remote community. Rosalie is excited to now work on SMR opportunities for remote applications. Rosalie has a BBA from the University of Toronto, majoring in Economics and Strategic Management, an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business, focused in Business and Sustainability and Organizational Studies, and recently obtained her Project Management Professional Certification.
