Across Canada’s energy sector, Indigenous women are leading at the intersection of community, business, and major project development. This panel brings together leaders who are not only shaping the future of energy, but redefining how it is developed—through partnership, stewardship, and long-term value creation.

From building Indigenous-owned businesses and negotiating impact benefit agreements, to advancing equity participation and workforce development, this conversation will explore what meaningful economic reconciliation looks like in practice. Panelists will also speak to the realities behind these partnerships—the challenges, the trade-offs, and the opportunities to do things differently.
