Over the past year, Talent4Energy has worked with YP Link to explore how the industry can better attract, retain, and advance young professionals.

Our journey began with the Newtonian Shift workshop, where we explored the complexities of the energy transition through an immersive gaming simulation. From there, we hosted focus groups and events with young professionals to understand what they value, what they want to see change, and how they view the industry’s future.

These conversations led to the development of high-level actions, presented at an executive breakfast event during last year’s Global Energy Show. Since then, we’ve gathered real-world practices through interviews, discussions, and focus groups — all of which have been compiled into this toolkit of actionable items the energy industry can take for the Attraction, Retention, and Advancement of Young Professionals in Energy.
