Nicole LeBlanc is Vice President, Markets for the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO), where she oversees market and tariff design, forecasting and market analytics, and commercial procurements. With 20 years of experience in the energy sector, she has led work in market evaluation and design, transmission planning, policy development, strategic planning and numerous regulatory proceedings. Most recently, she led the AESO team responsible for developing the Restructured Energy Market.

She holds a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Calgary.
