Michael Eddy is a Corporate Affairs leader with more than 20 years of experience in government and the natural resources sector, with deep expertise in stakeholder engagement, public affairs, regulatory policy and sustainability.

Michael has been at the forefront of Canada’s LNG industry for nearly 15 years and his leadership directly contributed to a positive Final Investment Decision for LNG Canada in 2018, the largest private sector investment in Canadian history.

As Director of External Affairs for Cedar LNG, Michael is responsible for relationships with federal, provincial, and Indigenous governments, as well as communities, media, and industry partners. As a key member of the Cedar LNG Leadership Team, Michael helped develop a competitive fiscal framework enabling a positive Final Investment Decision on the $4 billion USD Cedar LNG Project in 2024. Cedar LNG, the world’s first majority Indigenous-owned LNG facility, is now under construction and set to commence operations in late 2028.
