As Chief Executive Officer of Upstream at ADNOC, Musabbeh Al Kaabi oversees a diverse portfolio of world class assets, delivering some of the lowest carbon intensity oil and gas globally. With more than 27 years of experience in the energy sector and a strong background in exploration and production, he brings deep operational expertise and strategic leadership to one of the world’s most influential energy organizations.

In addition to his executive role, Musabbeh is co-chair of the Canada-UAE Business Council, promoting bilateral trade and investment, and serves on the boards of several leading organizations across energy, infrastructure, and industry, including Masdar, Tabreed, ADNOC Gas, and ADNOC Drilling. His extensive governance experience, combined with a strong technical foundation in geophysical engineering and geoscience, offers a global perspective on upstream development, investment strategy, and value creation during a time of significant energy transition.
