Stephanie Prior is an experienced energy executive and advisor with 30 years in strategy, advisory, corporate development and investment banking across global energy, chemicals, mining and power & utilities. She started her journey as an Engineer and Exploration Geologist in Canada’s Arctic. 
 
Over her career, Stephanie has worked extensively in Canada, the US, the UK, Europe, the Nordics, Africa and Asia. She has held leadership roles in Investment Banking, Industry and Advisory and is a strategic advisor to major corporations and governments worldwide. She has negotiated for and/or with counterparties from these regions along with national oil companies and sovereign wealth funds from India, Middle East, China, SE Asia and South America. She takes a pragmatic and globally informed approach with clients. 

Global strategic advisory: Stephanie has guided corporate and government clients across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas on corporate strategies, restructuring, M&A, and operating model structuring. 

Transaction and integration leadership: She has successfully executed transactions exceeding US$7 billion, including major mergers and carve-outs, and led financing strategies involving over US$2.3 billion in capital markets activities. 

Recognition and community involvement: She serves on the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Natural Resources & Environment Committee, Canada Powered by Women’s Advisory Committee and was named among the World Energy Council’s Top 275 Female Executives globally in 2020.
