Craig brings over 25 years of experience in integrating sustainability strategies into business processes and demonstrating ESG performance to external stakeholders. Throughout his career, he has specialized in solving complex sustainability challenges, fostering relationships with ethical investors and providing strategic advice to corporate Boards and Executives on ESG performance improvement.  

Before co-founding Shift Critical International, Craig oversaw Cenovus Energy’s strategic involvement in Canada’s Oil Sands Innovation Alliance (COSIA), where he was elected Chairman of the organisation’s Shareholder Steering Committee. Recognized as a leading expert in corporate sustainability, he has led sustainability strategy, disclosure and policy development teams at two of Canada’s largest energy companies. Additionally, he has served as a Board observer for several private technology companies focused on improving ESG performance. His contributions to the field of sustainability in Canada have been acknowledged with anExcellence in Corporate Responsibility Award.  This personal achievement award recognized his leadership for “transforming business towards a sustainable future.

He holds a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science, with a focus on international business and human rights risk management.
