Kavan has a decade of experience in the field of sustainability, including Life Cycle Assessment, energy systems modeling and analysis, sustainability reporting, scenario analysis, GHG emissions quantification, mitigation, and GHG verification.  Kavan holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with specialty in Energy and Environmental Systems Analysis from the University of Calgary and is a professional engineer registered in Alberta.  Kavan is currently the Director of Decarbonization at Modern West Advisory Inc. and helps companies tackle a broad range of environmental challenges.
