Chris Wallace is the Lead Advisor – Energy Transition Advisory & Investments at WSP, where he advises organizations on navigating the transition to low-carbon fuels and technologies. Chris holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy Development from the University of Calgary, with research focused on the hydrogen economy, clean energy economics, and energy decarbonization, and has +20 years of global energy industry experience as a geologist.
His work focuses on technical and commercial aspects for successful project execution. Previously, he served as Canadian Project Manager for EverWind Fuels’ Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Project in Nova Scotia, Canada’s first flagship ammonia export initiative. Chris is a former Government of Canada advisor who co-led the implementation of Canada’s Hydrogen Strategy, advancing policies and programs to scale low-carbon fuels for domestic and export markets. He brings extensive experience in cross-sector collaboration with provinces, Indigenous groups, industry, and NGOs.
