Cheryl Trudell is a retired oil and gas executive with 30 years of experience in engineering, research, operations, and strategic leadership across Imperial Oil and ExxonMobil. She is the past Chair of the Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and serves on the Clean Resources Innovation Network Board and the World Petroleum Congress Energy Canada Board.

Cheryl is a Fellow of both the Canadian Academy of Engineering and the Canadian Society of Senior Engineers, holds the ICD.D designation, and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Engineering (1992) and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (1996) from Western University.
