Ali Telmadarreie is a researcher and entrepreneur. He is co-founder and CEO of CNERGREEN working on developing technology enabling more responsible hydrocarbon production by increasing the efficiency of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) through lower costs and accelerated timelines, and promotes more sustainable EOR through a reduced environmental impact of production and avoided emissions of CO₂.

Ali graduated from the Ph.D. program in petroleum engineering at the University of Alberta in March 2017 and since then he has been working as a researcher with the CERC at the University of Calgary with experience in the design and implementation of complex fluids (i.e. foam, emulsion) and nanomaterials for underground applications. Ali has authored more than 30 publications and invent/co-invent four patents/disclosures.
