Alfredo Leon is currently Senior Applications Engineer in Electric Submersible Pumps at Baker Hughes,as part of the Center of Excellence, provides worldwide technical support in conventional and unconventional applications and different levels of complexity. He has 20+years of experience in the oil and gas industry where has held several positions in drilling, reservoir and production engineering. Prior to joining GE in 2013, worked for Baker Hughes Canada as Electric Submersible Pumps Applications Engineer, Canadian Natural Resources, Extreme Engineering and Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA). During his career, he has published several technical papers and participated in local and international events as presenter and moderator. Holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from La Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela, is an active member of APEGA and currently pursuing the Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification.
