Alex works on the carbon advisory team with McDaniel & Associates providing due-diligence, feasibility studies, and support for carbon sequestration proponents and investors.

Alex’s experience includes petroleum and natural gas production, natural gas storage, and saline aquifer CO₂ sequestration. Alex has worked hands-on in the field with high pressure pipelines, facilities and injection wells, co-founded and operated a hydraulic fracturing quality control company, reservoir simulated extraction and injection processes, and contributed to 6 major oil & gas acquisition evaluations with a combined assessed value over $4 Billion CAD.

Alex has co-authored papers and presented at engineering and geology conferences in the fields of oil and gas extraction, and CO₂ sequestration.
