Sean Hervo, P.Eng., MBA, is the Co-founder and CEO of PrePad, a leading cloud-based SaaS startup that revolutionizes cost and time estimation for oil and gas drilling and completions. PrePad’s platform provides advanced scenario modeling for development operations, enabling operators to optimize the balance between production, cost, cycle time, emissions, and risk.

A professional engineer based in Calgary, Sean has nearly 15 years of progressive experience in the energy industry. Before co-founding PrePad, he spent nearly 12 years at Shell, where he led teams in their shale oil and gas business across the Americas. His roles included serving as the Strategic Supply Chain Lead and Completions Engineering Manager for Canada.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and an MBA from Cornell University. His extensive background in engineering and business, combined with his innovative leadership, positions him as a key figure in advancing technology in the energy sector.
