Marianna brings over a decade of experience in R&D, technology innovation, and strategic partnerships across the oil & gas and energy sectors. She has worked in both the energy and technology industries across Canada and currently serves as Manager of Business Development at PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada. At PTAC, she leads member engagement efforts to foster a collaborative innovation ecosystem that advances technology leadership in decarbonization, cost savings, efficiency, and safety.

Marianna is also a board member of the Canadian Society for Evolving Energy (CSEE) and serves as Team Lead for the Energy Ambassadors Program. As Head of Onboarding, she helps guide the integration of emerging leaders into the energy sector.

Previously, Marianna held roles at Exergy Solutions’ Innovation Advisory Team and Suncor Energy’s Enterprise Technology, and Low Carbon Fuels & Offsets Team, where she led technology de-risking efforts for low-carbon fuels, secured over $15M in government funding, and managed multi-million-dollar portfolios focused on waste-to-fuel, hydrogen, and renewable chemicals.

Marianna holds a BSc in Chemistry and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
