Dinara is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the energy markets. With advanced knowledge of the Canadian energy industry and regulatory landscape, as well as strong technical expertise and leadership skills, Dinara has achieved numerous successes throughout her career. Previously serving as the Vice President of Research at the Canadian Energy Research Institute, she led multidisciplinary teams, oversaw the Research Committee, and actively participated in Board meetings. Her exceptional communication skills are evident through her extensive publication record, research reports, papers, and media appearances as a subject matter expert.

As a founder of 17Insight, Dinara consults on energy and environmental issues related to Canadian and international energy markets, decarbonization, energy transition and ESG and sustainability. More recently, she was responsible for spearheading the development and connection of a network of strategically positioned hydrogen hub and corridors across Canada. This involved establishing and managing key relationships, identifying prospective hub locations, and fostering effective relations and knowledge sharing among the hubs.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Dinara actively contributes to her community through volunteer work, assisting new Canadian immigrants with cultural integration, networking, and understanding Canadian work culture. Dinara serves on the Boards of the Calgary Region Immigrant Employment Council and the VeriStell Institute. She holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Calgary.
