Joshua Anhalt is the CEO and founder of Mbrace Energy, a pioneering energy services company advancing flareless, ventless well blowdown technologies that enhance production while eliminating emissions. With over two decades of experience in the energy sector, Joshua is recognized as a leading authority on methane detection, measurement, and mitigation.

Before launching Mbrace in 2025, he was President of GreenPath Energy, where he built the company into Canada’s leading methane field services provider. Following GreenPath’s acquisition by Montrose Environmental Group in 2023, Joshua served as Vice President of Emission Technology, helping scale solutions across North America.

A Red Seal Journeyman Instrumentation Technologist by training, Joshua brings a hands-on technical lens to complex emissions challenges. He also serves as a venture architect with Avatar Innovations, mentoring emerging energy entrepreneurs developing next-generation decarbonization technologies. His work has taken him across North America and globally, advising energy producers, regulators, and governments on pragmatic, high-impact methane reduction strategies.
