Dani Hansen is a VP within the Carbon Advisory group at BMO Capital Markets, focused on supporting clients with navigating environmental commodity markets, driving commercial strategy, and addressing regulatory developments and policy implications on emissions projects. With over a decade of experience in environmental consulting and emissions management, Dani previously led the development and operational management of field-based emissions detection, quantification and verification services across Canada with Vertex Resource Group. Dani is currently a Fellow with the Energy Futures Lab and holds a master’s degree in Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo as well as a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Victoria.
