How do I submit an abstract for Energy Influencers?

Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the online submission portal. Click here to access the submission form.

What is the submission deadline?

All abstracts must be received by December 4, 2026 to be considered for review.

Can I submit my abstract after the deadline?

No. Late submissions will not be accepted. If you anticipate requiring additional time, please contact Dusan Krnjaja at dusankrnjaja@dmgevents.com before the submission deadline.

How do I choose the correct category for my proposal?

Select one primary conference category that best aligns with your presentation:

• Oil & Gas

• New Energy

• AI & Data Centres

You will also be asked to select the most relevant subcategory within your chosen track.

What should be included in my abstract?

How long can my abstract be?

Abstracts must be written in English and limited to 450 words.

Are commercial trade names or company names allowed in my submission?

Presentations should be educational rather than promotional. Excessive use of commercial language, product names, trade names, or marketing content should be avoided. The committee reserves the right to reject presentations that are overly commercial in nature.

Do I need management approval before submitting my abstract?

Yes. Submitters should obtain any necessary internal approvals before submitting an abstract. Any anticipated challenges related to travel, visas, approvals, budgets, or availability should be identified during submission.

How will my abstract be evaluated by the committee?

The Energy Influencers Committee reviews all submissions using a standardized scoring process. Evaluation criteria include:

  • Industry relevance and value

  • Originality and innovation

  • Practical insights and lessons learned

  • Technical merit and quality of content

  • Absence of excessive commercial content

When will I be notified of my submission status?

All submitters will receive notification by email no later than January 22, 2027. Notifications will be sent to the primary contact listed in the submission form.

What is required if my abstract is accepted?

Accepted presenters will be required to:

  • Register for the conference using the discounted speaker rate.

  • Submit a final PowerPoint presentation by the designated deadline.

  • Provide a public version of their presentation materials for inclusion in the post-event presentation library.

Detailed speaker guidelines and deadlines will be provided upon acceptance.

Do accepted speakers receive complimentary registration?

No. Accepted speakers are required to purchase a discounted conference pass. Speaker registration rates and deadlines will be communicated with acceptance notifications.

Are presenters responsible for travel, accommodation, or other expenses?

Yes. Presenters are responsible for all costs associated with participation, including registration fees, travel, accommodation, meals, visas, and other incidental expenses.
