How do I submit an abstract for Energy Influencers?

What is the deadline for abstract submissions?

All submissions must be received by December 5, 2025 in order to be considered.

Can I submit my abstract after the deadline?

No. Late submissions will not be accepted, please reach out to Dusan Krnjaja dusankrnjaja@dmgevents.com if you need more time prior to the deadline.

How do I choose the correct technical category for my proposal?

Select one primary category from the three provided Oil & Gas, New Energy, or AI & Data Centres and choose the subcategory within that category that best fits your proposal.

What should be included in my abstract?

Abstracts should include:

  • Objectives/Scope
  • Methods, Procedures, Process
  • Results, Observations, Conclusions
  • Novel or additive information relevant to the energy sector

How long can my abstract be?

Abstracts must be written in English and limited to 450 words.

Are commercial trade names or company names allowed in my submission?

Titles, text, and slides must limit commercial language, trade names, or company names. Submissions containing overtly commercial content may be removed from the program.

Do I need management approval before submitting my abstract?

Yes. Management clearance must be obtained prior to submission. Any issues (visa, travel, approvals, budget) should be noted in the submission.

How will my abstract be evaluated by the committee?

The Energy Influencers Committee will review abstracts based on contribution to technology, industry relevance, originality, and avoidance of commercial content.

When and how will I be notified about the status of my submission?

Submitters will be notified by email to the primary contact listed in the submission form by January 23, 2026.

What is required if my abstract is accepted?

  • Submit a PowerPoint presentation by May 22, 2026 (technical paper optional).
  • Purchase a discounted three-day Energy Influencers conference pass.by February 6, 2026.
  • Provide a public version of presentation materials (PowerPoint or paper) for the online library after the conference concludes.

Are presenters responsible for travel, accommodation, or other expenses?

Yes. dmg events is not responsible for any presenter expenses, including travel, registration, accommodation, food, visas, or other incidental costs.
