Sasha holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences with a concentration in Geography, and a Master’s degree in Terrestrial and Aquatic Sciences. She has previous experience with methods of monitoring and measuring soil and water, with particular interests in hydrology, remediation, sustainability, and water ethics. Her background spans research, environmental consulting, and government roles, including work on ecosystem degradation in headwaters caused by logging, trail erosion linked to traffic, invasive aquatic species management, ensuring high water quality at a mine, and contaminated site remediation. Most recently, Sasha has shifted her focus to environmental education, working as an instructor in the Environmental Technology and Integrated Water Management programs at SAIT.
