Michael Mee, member of the Metis Nation of Alberta has spent over 30 years in a variety of positions in the upstream oil and gas ecosystem.

Starting his career in Alberta in 1992 near Fix Creek he is an example of hard work (and a little bit of luck) propelling someone's career.

Having held roles ranging from roughneck on a drilling rig through to strategic operations and engineering management, he brings a wholistic and well-rounded perspective to the industry.

His perseverance and openness has taken him from the cold north beyond High Level to the shores of The Caspian and the deserts of Iraq giving him a Canadian tint on the world at large.
