Marianna Trujillo brings over a decade of experience in R&D, technology innovation, and strategic partnerships across the cleantech and energy sectors. She currently serves as Manager of Business Development at PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada, where she leads member engagement to continually fostered a collaborative innovation ecosystem for a stronger, sustainable and more competitive Canadian energy future.
Previously, Marianna was Business Development Manager for Exergy Solutions’ Innovation Advisory Team, supporting technology developers, investors, and industry in accelerating clean technology commercialization. She also held roles at Suncor Energy, where she led technology de-risking efforts for low-carbon fuels, securing over $15M in government funding and managing multi-million-dollar portfolios focused on waste-to-fuel, hydrogen, and renewable chemicals.
Marianna holds a BSc in Chemistry and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary. She is also an Energy Ambassador and Head of Onboarding for the Canadian Society for Evolving Energy (CSEE).
