Delon Chan is Head of Office for the Alberta & Northwest Territories Regional Office of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service, leading its Energy, Oil & Gas, and Cleantech team. He helps Canadian companies pursue export and innovation opportunities in oil & gas, petrochemicals, emissions reduction, hydrogen, carbon capture, renewables, energy storage, and critical minerals wastewater. Previously, Delon spent 14 years as a Canadian diplomat in the U.S., including as Consul and Head of Office of the Consulate of Canada in Houston, advancing Canadian trade, investment, and innovation in oil & gas, energy, and clean energy transition sectors. He also served in Detroit and Dallas as Consul & Trade Commissioner, leading Foreign Direct Investment Attraction & Innovation Programs.
