Carmen Velasquez is the Director, Research and Product Development at Studio.Energy. Carmen has spent more than 25 years working at the intersection of energy and finance, with a career that has included senior roles at AIMCo, Darkhorse Analytics, University of Alberta, IHS CERA (now S&P) and BP. She brings a global perspective, shaped by work across North America and Asia, and a deep passion for energy and sustainability. Carmen has also served as a Board Director at a private U.S. midstream company and an Australian agricultural company. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary and the ICD.D designation.
