Peter G. Kusalik is a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Calgary. He was a co-author on the landmark paper (Sci. Adv. 6: eaaz0094 (2020)) first reporting the generation of bulk nanobubbles with electric fields. His wide-ranging research interests have included understanding behavior in liquids and solutions, with a particular focus on water, and the influence of electric fields on such systems. He is a very accomplished and award-winning researcher having authored 119 papers and two book chapters. His work has appeared in various premier journals, including Science, and PNAS, and has received more than 7400 citations; his current h-index is 48. He has considerable team building and administrative experience, having served as Head of Department and Associate Dean.
