Have managed field development for conventional and unconventional energy resources in Canada (including Petro-Canada and ConocoPhillips) and the US, Mexico, South America, and the Middle East. Have used up-to-date know-how and technological innovations to resolve complex challenges in non-renewable and renewable energy resources, reservoir characterization, energy sustainability, modeling, environmental impacts, fracture evaluation, management of underground gas storage, and conventional/unconventional plays including fractured and tight fields. Have lead water flood, gas injection, EOR, and multi-discipline sub-surface projects. Well experienced in business decision making, ranging from a single resource to development plans for complex conventional and unconventional fields. Results-oriented with aptitude for leading and delivering complex energy and upstream projects, through multi-discipline teamwork. Have been involved in the development of underground compressed air energy storage (CAES) projects. Developed analysis and deployment strategies for compressed air energy storage in underground porous formations for renewable energies. Evaluated advantages of IIoT and developed deployment roadmap for the energy industry. Have evaluated the design and deployment of IIoT for the energy industry. Have been a faculty member of universities (including the University of Calgary and The University of Southern California), offering graduate-level courses and conducting research; providing mentoring, training, and courses to the energy industry. The subjects include Advanced Production Engineering, Smart Completions and Sensor Technology, Fundamentals of Energy Resources, Reservoir Engineering, Fractured Reservoir Engineering, Energy Sustainability and Optimization, Well Test Design and Analysis, and Underground Gas Storage.
