CALGARY, ALTA: dmg::events announces rescheduled new dates for its flagship North American energy event, the Global Energy Show, originally scheduled for June 8-10, 2021 to September 21-23, 2021.

As Canada’s largest and most well-attended business-to-business exhibition and conference, the Global Energy Show has a community of more than 50,000 delegates, exhibitors, partners and sponsors from over 100 countries participating each year.

The decision to reschedule the Global Energy Show follows a robust risk assessment of the COVID-19 pandemic as dmg::events works closely with federal, provincial and municipal public health authorities to ensure the safety of all participants. In addition, dmg::events has published its own ‘All Secure’ guide to running safe events, and is working with venue host BMO Centre at Stampede Park that recently achieved Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) certification used at major venues and leagues including the NFL, NHL and NBA.

“Our commitment to delivering exceptional events that support economic growth and recovery will be reinforced by the highest standards of safety next year at the Global Energy Show,” said Nick Samain, Vice President of dmg::events.  “Moving the event to the fall is an additional prudent step as we begin to see the return of in-person live experiences.”

The conference, exhibition and programming have expanded for 2021, now showcasing Canada’s full and integrated energy sector including sustainable oil and gas, nuclear and SMR, wind, solar, geothermal, hydrogen and hydroelectric energy supply chains. Topics on the agenda this year include energy and environmental policy, Indigenous economic participation, market demand and security, investment and finance, geopolitics and geoeconomics, emerging leadership and sustainable business.

“No single source of energy can meet our increased global demands for energy,” said Samain “The Global Energy Show is where Canada demonstrates its vision of energy leadership and innovation, showing the world what is possible when you bring people, technology and imagination together to meet global challenges with real-world solutions.”

More details will be communicated on the program as they come available. Visit globalenergyshow.com for the latest details.
