SHARE THE PROGRESS OF THE LARGEST RESERVOIRS IN THE WORLD
The Alberta Oil Sands has the third largest oil reserves in the world, after Venezuela and Saudi Arabia. They represent proven reserves equal about 165.4 billion barrels (bbl). While they represent a large capital investment up front, oil sands projects deliver a long-term source of consistent and reliable supply that can last for decades. Innovation and technology developments have been very effective in helping drive down the per barrel cost of production.
