The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership is the lead economic development organization for Sarnia-Lambton. The area has emerged as Canada’s 2nd largest petrochemical & refining complex, North America's leading Hybrid Chemistry Cluster, and is Ontario’s Hydrogen Hub. The area is known and respected as a key engineering, R&D, and product/process commercialization centre for the petrochemical, refining, bio-based, and low-carbon chemistry industries. The Sarnia Lambton Industrial Alliance (SLIA) is a coalition of over 30 Sarnia-Lambton companies that specialize in all aspects of metal fabrication, engineering, environmental, and support services geared to manufacturing industries. SLIA companies have the skills and manpower to take a concept from front end development through process design, engineering, environmental permitting, manufacturing or machinery and equipment modules, construction, installation, and plant commissioning.
