Hugh is currently VP Programs at Avatar Innovations – the corporate innovation and venture studio pattern for the energy industry. With the founders, he is the architect of the Avatar Program – a unique developer of entrepreneurial leadership talent that is building a new energy future.
Hugh brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate education and consulting leadership roles across Europe, Middle East, North America and Asia. He has succeeded in corporate education roles (IBM and CSC) and business schools executive education (Henley Business School, UK and University of Calgary, Canada).
He now specializes in innovation as a discipline applied both to start up (energy transition) and growth businesses (new product / market development).
He has a BSc in Management Science from Loughborough University, UK and MSc in Business Leadership from the University of the West of England, Bristol UK.
