Will Shimer
Will is currently leading business development for Climate Investment – a $1B impact investment fund backed by the oil/gas majors. He is responsible for originating and diligence of investment opportunities into commercial GHG reducing projects spanning the CCUS, methane abatement, and energy efficiency sectors.
Will has prior techno-commercial background in gas processing with Honeywell UOP and carbon capture with a start-up technology company Carbon Clean. He has worked for various owner-operators in related industries including Oxy, BP, and Air Products.
Will has an MBA in General Management from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
