Shannon Timmons

At the International CCS Knowledge Centre, Shannon provides project management and technical support to carbon capture projects across various industries.

Prior to joining the Knowledge Centre, Shannon spent 14 years in engineering, project management, and strategic planning within the Canadian upstream oil and gas sector in the areas of coal bed methane, shale gas and polymer flood oil recovery. Her engineering expertise includes project management and execution, as well as building long-term area development plans. Further experience includes portfolio management and project evaluations of large-scale projects, risk mitigation, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and project lookbacks. Shannon has led various teams to effectively develop and optimize oil and gas assets. 

Shannon holds a B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a B. Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan.
