Ryan McDougall

Ryan McDougall has been a member of Enbridge for also 10 years, with a primary focus on station assets. During his time with Enbridge, he has been a part of the development of station standards for station design of natural gas station regulating and heating, bio gas upgrading as well as RNG purchase stations. Most recently, Ryan has been a part of the hydrogen adoption strategy in the gas utility sector. In hydrogen, Ryan has had a focus on end use combustion applications including residential, commercial and industrial applications (with an emphasis on natural gas quality and blended gas). In a partnership between Siemens Energy and Enbridge, Ryan has been involved in determining the effects and requirements to utilize blended hydrogen in a Siemens SGT-A35 natural gas turbine. As part of this collaborative project, he has also been the Enbridge lead in developing the process to take advantage of waste energy at the same facility to generate hydrogen.
