Doug Bezpalko

As a farm boy who values and cares for the environment, Doug has a deep understanding of the importance of energy and food security. A dedicated supporter of applying cost affective and innovative solutions to reducing emissions, enhancing safety, and optimizing operations, he appreciates the challenges facing the energy industry today. His journey started as a Journeyman Instrument Mechanic, so he is very familiar with well sites, production facilities, petrochemical plants, and pipelines. His hands on experience have given him insight to the challenges faced out in the field, which has proven invaluable in his roles. He currently holds the position of Manager of Technical Sales at Calscan Solutions. Doug has held positions as a Location Director of Quality Saudi Arabia (EPCM company), Global Director of Assurance Major Projects & Alliances (EPCM company), Automation Department Manager Engineering (EPCM company) in North America and President of an Alberta Instrumentation Construction, Commissioning and Maintenance Company. Currently, a member of APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers & Geologists Alberta) and still holds a Red Seal as a Journeyman Instrument Mechanic. You never know when you might need to be on the tools. With over 20+ years of experience, Doug is a valued contributor to business objectives of domestic and international projects including well sites, power plants, pipelines, hydrocarbon, and Petro-Chemical facilities, he provides innovative solutions with expertise and proven results.
