Danial Kaviani is a specialist data scientist at Suncor Energy where his current focus is on developing advanced analytics solutions in Oil Sands mining, extraction, and tailings space. Prior to switching his career to analytics, he had different reservoir engineering roles. Danial holds a BSc and a MSc in mining engineering from Tehran Polytechnic and a PhD in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University.
