Cassidy Silbernagel

Cassidy Silbernagel is currently the Senior Additive Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer at Exergy Solutions. He is focused on increasing adoption of 3D printing in industries across Alberta and Canada through education in Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM). Cassidy has been a member of the Exergy team since 2020 and has more than 12 years of experience in additive manufacturing and design engineering. He is passionate about design, machine learning, and 3D printing and is working on ways to incorporate all three together. Cassidy has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary in Canada with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development. He also holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham in the UK where he focused on metal 3D printing for electric motors.
