Dubert Gutiérrez is the chief reservoir engineer at AnBound Energy Inc., a subsurface consulting company based in Calgary. He is a professional engineer with over 18 years of experience in reservoir engineering and simulation of a variety of conventional and unconventional reservoirs and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) processes worldwide. Previously, he worked with ADNOC Onshore, Cenovus Energy, CMG, Nexen, and BP Colombia, where he was involved in a variety of EOR projects and pilots such as miscible gas injection, chemical injection, air injection and steam injection, among others. His current main area of interest is the numerical simulation of enhanced recovery processes for the development of conventional and unconventional oil and gas reservoirs, as well as the numerical modelling of solution mining processes for the exploitation of mineral deposits. Gutiérrez holds a BSc degree in petroleum engineering from the National University of Colombia, and an MSc degree with specialization in reservoir engineering from the University of Calgary.
