With over 20 years of experience in business development, M&A, and general management, Waqar has established himself as a dynamic leader and savvy dealmaker. He has built and financed billions of dollars in energy projects across the globe, working with leading firms like Enbridge, AMEC plc, Babcock and Wilcox, and now Ultra Safe Nuclear Corporation (USNC).

As Senior Vice President, Commercial and Structured Financing at USNC, Waqar is spearheading the deployment of the company's cutting-edge Micro-Modular™ Reactors (MMR®) around the world. His expertise in commercial strategy development, global deal execution, and project financing will be critical to the success of this exciting new technology, which has the potential to revolutionize the energy industry.

But Waqar's achievements go far beyond his work with USNC. Over the course of his career, he has led the origination, development, and M&A of over $3B in greenfield and brownfield wind and solar projects in the Americas and EMEA. He has negotiated complex deals, managed stakeholders, and built and managed international teams and alliances.
