Sharleen Gatcha was recently appointed VP, Strategy & Growth for Trido Energy Services, a leading provider of sustainable and innovative solar-powered production equipment to the energy industry in Alberta. Trido is a renewable energy technology company, offering a revolutionary integrated end-to-end carbon credit management service. Sharleen has over 30 years of corporate business experience, having held a broad range of leadership roles focused on organizational effectiveness, change management and operational transformation at a number of key organizations in Alberta’s energy sector including TransAlta, AltaLink, AESO, Statoil (now Equinor) and the Balancing Pool. In 2019, Sharleen started her own non-profit organization to support women in the power industry in Alberta and served as CEO until January 2023. Sharleen was recently selected as 1/100 women to represent Canada’s energy sector as part of the Women in Energy Transformation series initiative for COP27.
