Nick is Senior Vice President, Energy, North America at dmg events, an international exhibitions and publishing company that attracts more than 425,000 visitors across a portfolio of 84 exhibitions each year.

Based in dmg’s North America headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, he leads both established bellwether brands that include the Global Energy Show (Canada’s largest B2B event), the International Pipeline Expo, Canada Gas & LNG, the Canadian Hydrogen Convention and Carbon Capture Canada, and develop new and exciting event launches to market.

Prior to joining dmg events, Nick was Show Manager, then Group Manager at the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) from 2007-2014. Before SME, he served in a variety of sales, sponsorship and business development roles for dmg world media and Reed Exhibitions, gaining extensive experience in both trade and consumer show management.

Nick received a bachelor’s degree in history from Carleton University in Ottawa and also successfully achieved his Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) designation in 2013. He is a proud member and Board Director with the Canadian Association of Exposition Management (CAEM).
